God created the universe in six days and then rested on the seventh day. I'm thankful that God made days. I love the fresh, new beginning of a morning, especially a foggy one like this one.

On some days, we worry about how we will get through that one day, but I think our worries generally involve much more time than a day. We worry long term. "Will Jimmy ever learn to read?" "Can I really get Amber through high school?" You know. Stuff like that.
However, all we can do is to spend this day doing what we can today. Tonight we can go to sleep; tomorrow we can start fresh again. Let's learn to live in the day we are experiencing, because if we're not careful, we may waste this day worrying about days we don't even have yet.

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
